Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

I have been drinking this for about a year now nice chocolate color tan long lasting head nice lacing excellentlacing nice smooth palate coffee and molesses with a slight bitter after taste this brings back fond memories when I was in the Army in Germany in a little town of Illishiem in 1970 sitting in a guest house having a few this is one of the best beers I have had in 30 some years. This is the beer I have been looking for. If there is one better would some one let me know

The perfect beer, for me anyway. This beer has made me a huge fan of Dopplebocks. Huge flavors from this suprisingly smooth beer.

Dark teak in color on the pour. Gorgeous beige head rest atop of a extremely viscous almost oil like body. Immersurable quality for the likes of me. One of the very top of the very best beers that I have ever tasted.

Decided to finally rate this. Poured into my Celebrator glass. Just a delicious being. I could go on and on about the smokiness and sublte malt sweetness being perfectly foiled by fresh and judicious hops but all you really need to to is look at the style definition for Doppelbock. Absolutley perfect. I marinated some Filet in this and had it with the steak.

Salvator is more famous and a great beer, but Celebrator is a vastly superior dopplebock, easily the best bock beer in the world. Its velvety, chewy texture is unique from any of the hundreds of beers I have sampled - triple decoction mashing, no doubt. Where lesser examples are thinner and sweeter, Celebrator is neither thin nor sweet, only sublimely malty, rich and drinkable. I am an ale drinker and I consider this one of the 5 best beers in the world. Superb.
