Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Man this beer is just great! I taste molasses, nuts, malt, and a tinge of alcoholic bite, as it should with 6.7%. This is my favorite beer to just sit back and drink.

Black is beautiful. Wonderful pure malt aroma. Yeasty, malty flavour that is a bit like vegemite. That's real good folks. Exquisite.

After hearing my roomate rave about this beer, I stole some of his. My goodness. I’ve yet to seek out my own bottle, but I think that’s just because I’m afraid it will break my bank. It got the perfect blend of malts/sweets/hops. It left my tounge yearning for more. Simply the best beer I think I’ve ever had.

Dark ruby body, nice tan head, sweet malty nose with chocolate notes. Big rich malty body, medium sweet, drying out in the finish. What German beer is supposed to be.

This is a superb beer. It’s a beautiful deep red color, though with not much of a head. The aroma is a little hard for me to sense at the moment because I’m recovering from a cold and I’m still congested, but it’s very good all the same. Cold, straight from the fridge, the carbonation seemed too strong and the taste a little bit too bitter, but after a few minutes, those balanced out, revealing what a magnificent brew this really is. Mmmmmmmm.

Malt smell, with a nice dark color. An excellent finish with that faint smoky dryness.

Certainly the best double bock I’ve ever had. Doesn’t leave as much of a sweet flavor on the palate the way other double bocks do. From draft it has a quite sweet, fruity flavor, but I actually prefer it from the bottle. Some more burnt malts and more character.
