Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Dark chocolate color with a brown head and a fizzy body. Malty and hoppy with a prune-like aroma. Sweet then bitter like a smooth dark chocolate. Medium and carbonated palate.

Good god what was I thinking. I can't get this one in my local stores so when I was away one time I picked up one of their last two. I decided to only buy one so I had money to buy something else. Now that I realize what a heavenly nectar this is I'm feeling like a road trip.

Anyways, back to the rating: spectacular aroma and appearance. I didn't want to drink it for fear of not having it sitting there to smell and look at. Rich dark brown body with an absolutely delicious looking creamy tan head. Sweet and malty and slightly chocolately and slightly fruity - but earthy fruits - and perhaps some caramel and molasses. Flavour is more chocolately than I expected and reveals greater complexity as it lingers in your mouth. Truly wonderful.

what can I say, other than this can’t be any smoother, tastier or more clean for a DB. Amazing.

Bottled. Medium tan head, turning into a ring, leaving behind gerous sheets of lace to start and nothing later on, sitting on top of a deep ruby body, crystal clear. Dry aroma of toasty fruit, promises a balanced brew; prune, caramel, toffee, toasted caramel, clean...banana upon warming! Fullish body, lots of silky-foamy carbonation, so dry and clean. Flavor is dominated by fruit, berries, apples, prunes with caramel, toasted malts, lightly bitter finish to balance out this lightly sweet brew. Crisp, clean, magnificently well balanced, shamefully drinkable, alcohol is totally concealed in the flavor until it warms and then it peaks out, sneakily, warmly and in a very friendly manner in the finish. As this stuff warms, I keep tasting new things...banana in the finish, wood(oak casks), ever so slightly smoky. The aftertaste is even dynamic. Overall: a clean, complex, "WOW" kind of beer.

What a great beer. The mild aroma led me to believe it would have more of a chocolate or coffee flavor, but it had a caramel/molasses taste. Like the description said it had a bit of a smoky dry finish.

Re-Rate, Jan 1, 05. Dark brown pour, small tan head. Wonderful rich malt aroma, chocolate, toffee, and sweet. Nice body, initially sweet, ending dry. Sweet roasty malts, chocolate and toffee again, with a little alcohol, good body. Nice rich flavor. Definately one of my favorites!

What else is there to say. Creamy head with chocolate, coffee and caramel. Great lacing. Mouthfeel is phenomenal. Smooth as silk. Excellent brew for any occasion or no occasion. Highly recommended. A little pricey but well worth the investment. My favorite beer to date.

Black/dark brown with nice tan head. Great aroma; raisins, dark fruits, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Similar for the taste with some hops, and caramel. Full bodied, dry and complex - superb.
