Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours cola brown with a 2 fingercreamy mocha head that has good retention. Aroma has a lot of malt, yeah, lots of malt. Toast, roast, dried, fruit, burnt sugar, caramel, cane juice, and maybe a hint of grassy hops. Flavor is once again huge on rich, yummy malt. Plenty of grain, and caramel, leading to roast, molasses, a hint of toast, lots of sweet pitted fruit, some coffee and nice burnt toffee. Hop notes are minimal but very well done, mostly of the herbal and floral notes, a little grass, and they provide just enough spice to balance the intesnse malt out to be delicious, definitely a good beer to serve cool and let warma bit to let the flavor mature. Body is thick but not too sticky and sweet but not cloying. This is the absolutely perfect beer for this cold winter evening. Absolutely a great beer all around.

Dark Brown, nearly black. Caramel-colored head, light head. Rich, malty flavor. Dry finish. My favorite beer by quite a large margin thus far.

simply the best. just enough dark rich fruitiness to be delicous yet also smooth and easy going down. the flavor is brought out even more as it warms. one of the only beers i can stand to drink near room temp.

This is the first Doppel that actually has a more developed taste than nose. Amazing, this is far and away the best doppelbock available in Oklahoma.

Had this beer at a bar/restaurant (not sure what it was) in Aying on NYE 2008. I didn’t keep any specific notes on this beer, but I do remember it being a highlight of my trip.

One hell of a beer. It was smooth and creamy, dark black, and very well done. My only complaint is a sweetness to the brew which makes the beer a little too rich for me to drink more than one bottle.
