Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

The standard by which all other doppelbocks are judged. I’m shocked by the level of darkness and body. Almost as rich as a sweet stout. So much malt but with the doppelbock kick. A hint of dark fruits too. This one is to be savored. Optimator is better if your looking to drink in quantity.

On tap at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a dark brownish color, big reddish highlights and very creamy peach-tan head with gorgeous lacing. Aroma is big with candied fruit, peach, caramel, raisin, soft sinuous chocolate and apricot. Malty body, full of flavor and complexity. Nutty, dark fruits, brown sugar, peach, raisin, apricot, slight roast in the finish. Very good. Highly drinkable and surprisingly full-bodied and luscious considering the gravity. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

This was a great Doppelbock. Thick and malty, slightly sweet very well blended. Absolutely no lingering flavors.

The pour is delightful, and the head is thick and creamy. It’s dark but when held to the light there is a ruby tint. A "liquid bread" experience starts with the intense malty aroma. Healthy and nourishing, evidenced by the thick creamy mouthfeel. Has a purity few other beers can even hope to have. Sweet malts end in a delightfully dry and smoky finish. This DB celebrates the essence of brewing and it’s always going to epitomize what I look for in any style of beer.

11.2 oz bottle 4pack. pretty expensive, but worth the money. nice dark red color, tan head that dissipated pretty quickly. just the right amount of bitterness. it overpowered the food i was eating so i had to finish the beer first. very good doppelbock in general.

Full bodied and malty, roasty and soft, one oof the best beers sold in Alko in Finland. The complexity of the malts and the overall balance of it all makes this a great beer for me.

Pours deep brown with a tall light brown head. Looks fucking epic.Has a sweet malty aroma with notes of dark fruits and bread. Flavour is rich and malty with notes of bread, plumbs, very full flavoured. Excellent palate from bigging to end, hand down the best lager I have EVER had. Just plain wicked.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. The color is a dark brown or black with a brown head. The smell is of malt and butterscotch, and a bit of a molasis flavor. The taste is of roasted malts, caramel, and molasis. This beer is a bit on the heavy side but does not put to hard over the edge. It is very flavorful and perfect for the beer drinker thats into that smoked dark taste.
