Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

This is a wonderful drinking experience. From the beginning of the pour to the last drop. This beer is full of chocolate, roast, licorice, cherries, oak, vanilla, peat smoke, and hops. Full-bodied and malty with a complexity that begs for another sip.

Bottle - Pours deep dark brown with thick tan head. Aroma is sweet malt with some chocolate notes. Medium palate with a silky creamy velvet feel. Nice complex flavor with some sweetness. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, maple and some hints of vanilla in the follow-through. No bitterness at all, just sweet malty goodness. Overall this is an outstanding beer and easily the best doppelbock I’ve had.

Bottle from Wilbur’s poured into Celebrator-esque glass - Pours a DEEP brown with a 2 finger light brown head that left spotty lacing; Milk and dark chocolates, caramel, toffee, powdered milk on a wonderfully sweet and inviting aroma; Coffee, caramel, roasted barley, bread pudding with hints of dried fruits and chocolate on the initial taste; Roast, vanilla, whipped cream, doughy sugar cookies and an alcoholic kick on the aftertaste; Smooth medium-full body; Pleasant carbonation; Definitely a new favorite! Minimal bitterness and a very complex taste. Left me feeling relaxed and wanting more!

Dark brown with small head. Smells of roasted malts, nuts. Great complex taste with roast, malts, nuts, some dark cherries, some vanilla. Coats your mouth and just a great beer.

Very very good doppelbock. Dark Dark brown, almost black in color. Nice mild chocolate/coffee aroma. This is only the 2nd double bock beer i have tried, the first being Broken Top Bock. This one is very good, but has nowhere near the complexities of the Broken Top Bock. Very straightforward and malty. Quite smooth, roasted malt flavor. Some coffee, vanilla and chocolate, but all very underlying and not overpowering. Very balanced and not too hoppy. Could drink several of these.
