Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Its not easy finding a top 50 beer in North Florida, so I was grateful to find this one. Beers with ’bock’ in the name usually disagree with me so I was also a bit hesitant, but I couldn’t wait any longer to try it.. Clear dark brown pour with a huge creamy tan head that stayed for a while and laced all the way down. Beautiful. Aroma of sweet malts. Flavor as deep and complex as the best belgian strong ales, sweet, thick, chewy, and perfectly balanced with the bitter finish. Oh, man this is wonderful. So smooth and delicious.. You can bet I’ll be buying more of these. Dark rum, dark fruits, molasses, chocolate, nice hoppy character. Very full body of tasty malts. the flavors just keep coming.. Love it!

Pours out a beauty. nice brownish redish color. Dark tan color lacing. Smells nutty, spicy, chocalty, and citrousy cherry. The aftertaste is malty with a citrousy crisp finish to it.

33cl bottle. You can’t always choose your milestone beers, but this one I did. So many, many thanks to Maeib for this one. Very happy to have a top 50 beer to be my 1000th, so hats off to Mark for allowing me to celebrate with this. Very dark brown with thin beige head. Attractive aroma which is oily and has molasses, choc, coffee with intense hops as well. Choc is very bitter. Its full in the mouth with good chracter. Excellent finish of molasses, bitter choc. Really nice finish. Good quality beer. Cheeers Maeib!

In the court of the prince of beers... Man, this is a bulwark of dopplebocks. One of the very best. This one is an interpretation that is earthier and a bit more scrappy. Perhaps even a little more drinkable than the original dopplebock. Poured wth a nice tan head, fine and a bit creamy. Dark almost opaque brown. A little crisper in the mouth with excellent carbonation. A nice smokey character. Just enough bittersweetness to make you want to have another swallow. Beer at its best! Having a draft of this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, WI USA.

This one is great. Thanks to BSwatz for giving me a sample. Great depth and a unique flavour that keeps getting better as the beer warms up. There is so much going on here, I’m not sure where to begin. There is some great cherry, citrus, hoppy, roasted malt, flavour that really mellows well together. The nose is all over the place, not very powerful at first, but really works well as you continue. I expected the alcohol to show its face, but it really is well hidden. This is a rich beer, not one I could drink too many of, but very enjoyable. I wish the cost wasn’t quite so substantial!!!

Beer pours a beautiful reddish brown color with a nice thick head of tiny bubbles. The aroma is very complex with notes of lemon, coffee, oak, and a nice roast malt. Flavor is equally fantastic. Perhaps one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Damn good.
