Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

An excellent beer. Dark, full bodied but without the burnt tast commonly found in this style. Well balanced malty with adequate hopps. Great nose and flavor to match. I was supprised to some degree. Tan mostly lasting head. A very good beer.

Deep mahongany, almost black beer that pours with a thick head the color of wet sand. The head retention is great on this beer, and it leaves a very pleasant lace on the glass. The aroma is complex and sweet. Raisin and chocolate scents are most pronounced. The taste is also nicely complex, with malt, bittersweet chocolate and a thick, fruity sweetness predominating. There is a nice bitterness on the finish. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and it coats the tongue nicely.

Nose is smoky. Dark in color with a thick rich head. Great flavor, very malty with a hint of chocolate. One of the best doppelbocks out there.

Deep dark ruby hue. Frothy beige head. Aromas of fruitcake, bready, raisons, plum, molasses, very earthy. My goodness...what a complex palate. Starts off nice and sweet, earthy, dark carmelized fruit. Velvet smoothness is incredible. Hops are there in the finish, as well as a strong smokey character. This is the bomb double bock, the best of show no doubt.

Beautiful mahoghany brown with fine, swirling light tan lacing. Complex malt aromas and flavors (lots of raisins, dates, walnuts and milk chocolate), and these complexities are accentuated by a very balanced sweetness. Some roastiness makes a showing towards the end of the sip. Excellent overall, with a finish that is somehow both dry and pleasantly sweet.

Wonderful! So complex and rich, extremely tasty. I don’t know if someone with such an undeveloped beer palate (like me) can appreciate it, but I know that its good and I will definitely get it again.

I wish I could get this locally. I could see myself drinking a lot of this. I had heard good things about this beer and I have to say that I'm not disappointed.
