Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Aroma dominated by roasted malt. Dark brown with a nice tan head that quickly disappears.Velvety texture with just the right carbonation. Flavor is semi sweet roasty toasty perfection. I love this site just for turning me on to brews like this.

Strong complex Chocolate/Malty nose. Very dark, almost black color...Looks like I just poured a glass of Coca-Cola. Sweet chocolate, malty, sweet mouth with a very distinct lingering aftertaste.

Ah... my 100th rating. Figured I would go for the best. I think this beer is pretty close to it as far as I am concerned. Very dark, opaque in color. Soft, billowy beige head which left a nice lace in the glass. As far as taste goes, there is a very caramel, sweet malt flavor present with just enough toasty bitterness to balance. Great stuff.

Deep brown in colour with a long lasting beige head. The aroma was amazing full of rich malt, caramel sweetness, smoke, molasses and some cookies. The flavour was of molasses, very malty, rich, very creamy, smooth with a bit of gingerbread. Full bodied. Finishes with a long mild bitterness. Many thanks to Steve for sharing his only bottle of this with me. You should have bought more!!

Rated Boulder Colorado July 31, 2003. Glorious dense ruby brown clear under a large beige tan medium lasting head. One of the best beer aromas around with BIG fruity (Raisins dates and figs), malty treacle and plum pudding aromas. Medium to chewy but very low carb body. Aroma hints at high sweetness but only minimal sweetness exists in the flavour which starts and lingers big and malty. Finish is slightly sweeter before moving to more bitter in the aftertaste. 90oF is not exactly the type of weather to be drinking this beer nevertheless a blessed brew.
