Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

An awesome beer experience. Get ready for malitness that will knock you on your ass. This beer is BIG. Big flavor, aroma, mouthfeel, and alcohol content. This is ’THE’ Dopplebock. I’ve had a few...but this one kicks ass! Rich, smooth, and intense.

I concur. This one really knocked my socks off. Almost perfect--explosion of flavors, chocolate, fruit, roasted and rich. The finish drys out a bit, but a world class beer overall.

This is on tap at Ashleys, a fine multitap in Ann Arbor, Mich. At first sip it reminded me of Rasputin - that heady, complex warmth of alcohol and fine dark malts. But the tastes dampened as i went and the body weakened, taking it out of Rasputin’s league. It’s a beautiful, mysterious beer and I’ll happily drink many, many more.

Certainly the finest doppelbock in all the land, awesome sweet malty aroma, full body, strong flavors but like the description says up top there it isn’t too overpowering, just right, hints of chocolate in the flavors, nice tan head, awesome doppelbock

Deep brown with a full body. Bread and caramel aromas. Very rich with chocolate and dark roasted malt flavors. Wonderfully balanced. You cannot go wrong with this one. Nectar for the beer gods.

An absolutely awesome beer. Let’s start with an impressively thick, lacy, tan head. Next comes the smell: toffee, caramel, hints of sweetness that let you know you’re in for a good beer. The taste is wonderful - almost candylike. Something of a buttery maltiness compliments the sweetness as it goes down smoothly. You can feel it on the sides of your tongue for a while after drinking - it leaves you wanting more. This is what I’ll be drinking when I’m not having a Belgian or a stout. Easily the best lager of any kind I’ve ever had, and it ranks right up there with my favorites from other categories. Oh, and the little goat thingy (thanks ecrvich) that you get with the bottle is kind of cool, maybe I’ll start a collection or use them as Monopoly pieces or something.
