Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Nice full body with a lot of malt flavor. A great dopplebock.

winner of the coveted ’order of the plastic goat’, this extravagance pours a warmly opalescent mahogany like a vintage martin. a luxurious head resides above. the cognac, raisin and buttery waffle aroma is enticing enough (try saving a little to splash on before a date), but the real joy is in the flavor, so full bodied it cracked my glass. sweetness deftly counterbalanced with hops. causes involuntary eyebrow raising and grinning.

A delicious beer for everyday drinking. Dark amber color. Delectable roasted malt aromas and flavors are what set this beer apart from the pack. There’s some dark chocolate notes and a light creamy sweetness. The hops are barely noticeable. I have always felt this beer lacks a bit in complexity though.

Delicious! It reminded me of drinking a chocolate cream pie; it had a great creamy mouthful with a sweet (but not overly so) flavor.

The head is creamy, a little more than off white, but not quite tan. Dark with ruby tones. Slowly diminishing. Chocolatey, malty aroma. Very malty. The flavors are somewhat subdued, so I'm going to let it warm some more before finishing the rating. Complex malts, alcohol is completely concealed. I love Ayinger.

This is very good. But, for the price of this I can get 12 Optimators...which I think is just as good.

Poured deep darkest ruby red, beautiful hue when held to light. Lasting beige head. Nice nose of raisins, caramel fudge, cocoa along with some light fresh grainy notes. Flavour is a similar blend of the above, though more focused on the chocolate malt flavours. Some roast notes too, but never overpowering. Wonderfully sticky full mouthfeel. Very tasty sipping bock.
