Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Wonderfully complex, the bitter hoppy notes mix perfectly with the malty goodness. Fruits like plums and berries are somewhere in the background.

Finally, fresh bottles.Dark, dark, mahogany with a creamy, pillowy, head. Strong, rich, aromas of raisins, german malts, fruit.Silky, somewhat spritzy mouthfeel.Perfect carbonation.Fruity, sweet, toastiness in the mouth.Such a subtle hop/smokey finish.Vinous, smoke also appear in the aroma, after breathing.Dark fruit flavors and strong malt take over the mouth and some strong malt presence in the finish develops as well. For the strength and richness this go down easy as can be.

A bitter molasses tree ramifies into prodigious licorice and caramel branches...Delectable sweet honey oozes from its burgundy trunk as some little jubilating white flowers spread a vanilla perfume...An earthy toffee excellence harbingers sweet, clinging vanilla and syrupy nut bread...Indubitable cookies holding on to fully ripe bananas...This is so rich for its size, it boggles the mind...

Finally able to get my hands on some of this brew and it was well worth the wait. Superb aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and some grain in there too, but all is perfectly balanced saying "drink me". Deep rich colors with a generous head that leaves a clingy lace on the glass, Flavor was sweet off the top transitioning smoothly into a solid malt base and finishing dry and clean. Positivly a world class beer that I will now keep in my regular selection.

A quality Doppelbock, but not something you can kick back with.

The aroma is strong, sweet with notes of prunes, brown sugar, citrus, coffee, malt, and bitter chocolate. The color is deep red-brown and it has a beutiful lasting light brown head. The flavor is sweet malty with very strong roasted notes; coffee, roasted bread, combined with caramel, alcohol, citrus, and more - great complexity. The alcohol runs prickling over the tongue and gives it a good palate.
