Dark brown color; bubbly head with creamy dimpled top; mild carbontion visible. Aroma is complex - alcohol, sherry, nuts, raisins, malt; flavor is slightly vinous, smooth and somewhat sweet. Fruity aftertaste.

Dec 1, 2008 Pours deep dark red with a tan head, medium sized. Aroma of wheat, malt, and cherry and other red fruits. Lots going on in this one, malt, raisin, plum, clove. Starts off sweet and ends up slightly sour. Just the right amount of carbonation. Absolutely amazing beer.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours a very dark red with a mocha coloured head that has a mix of smaller and bigger bubbles. Aroma is of chocolate, raisins, plums, and spice. Taste is of chocolate, figs, raisins, spice. Really nice taste.

Very good beer, interesting taste/carbonation almost a mixture between a Guiness and a Cider to me.
