Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Bottled. A dark body with a brown frothy head. Almost porter-ish. Sweet aroma from prune and a smoky quiet fresh flavour.

I don’t know why this took me so long to get around to rating this but I finally picked one up. Pours black with a ruby red tint to it with a nice thick head that looks like root beer. Aroma of dried figs and herbs. Definitely a sipping winter beer. Thick and creamy on the palate, and taste of dried fruit finishing down the throat with a clean roasted malt component. I’ll definitely have to have this again in the winter time as August in Texas is not the right time for this brew. Excellent!

Had the feeling this beer would be overrated... but nope, it’s a tasty one. Darker pour than the picture lets on. Dark brown pour with creamy tan head. Slightly roasty very malty flavor. Very concentrated biscuit, toffee, caramel, and molasses. Yum. A bit of cocoa and a nuttiness that’s not overwhelming. I will drink more of these, I’m sure.

I will only drink this again if Schneider Aventinus, Weizen-Bock, and Brooklyn-Schneider Hopf-Weiss are all discontinued. This is a watery bock, only slightly more flavorful than Michelobe Amber Bock. All the elements are there: the roast, the caramel malt, the almonds - they are just timid compared to the aforementioned beers. I cannot go back.

Pours a deep brown with a ruby tint when you hold it to the light. Heavy molasses in the nose that continues into the flavor, which tastes almost like a stack of pancakes dusted with hazelnuts. Very tasty.

Draught. Pours dark brown with reddish highlights and a creamy tan head. Aroma is breadcrust, slightly roasty malt. Taste is clean but rich - breadcrust and cocoa, a hint of dark fruit, and a slightly nutty roastiness that grows and dries out slightly on the finish. Mouthfeel is light but velvety. Very nice beer.
