Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Very very interesting. Very dark with a lovely foamy tan head. Aroma is quite musty and moldy but the "fresh" aroma of the crystal comes through. Taste is moldy with a noticable background lager flavor. The flavor is accented with dark fruit and the finish is quite dry and very smoky. This is a very good, very drinkable beer. Very smooth and clean, something you should expect from a well-made lager. Spot on!

33cl bottle: Pours a dark ruby red with a small, off-white head. The aroma is vinous, with toffee-chocolatey malts and dark fruits, sometimes even flowery but not aggressive and very inviting. Clean, bittersweet flavours of dark chocolate, obscure herbs and caramel with just a hint of roastiness. Thick and creamy mouthfeel, but not overly sweet, balanced by a pretty strong bitterness. The carbonation is a slight bit too fizzy and affects the smoothness of the beer. Really nice and drinkable Doppelbock.

lct-mhgy, dense head, chunky lace, §co2, full-syrupy-bod.

complex crml mlss malt (a bit of everything) aroma.

malt bock T1, fleeting-bock T2, sweet warm returning-bock T3, §bitter Tf, ^warm for ABV, a bit cloying / sweet-malt-heavy on the palate.

Amber brew with a short antique white head, wonderful balance of malty sweetness and mild hops. Real nice representative of this style.

a great one from the dopplebock selection but not my favorite. its red/brow, definitely malty and smooth but a bit too much flavor. It has plenty of fruit in the aftertaste, just not my style. I like the Optimator.

Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, toffee and some chocolate. The flavor is mostly roasted malts with some caramel. A good beer to drink on a cold day.

Aroma, aroma, aroma. Nothing gets me more amped up for a beer than a rich malty aroma coming from the glass and celebrator has it. I think celebrator’s strongest point however is it’s balance. The malt, hops, and alcohol are all very evenly blended with the resulting beer being very delightful.

Dark with nice ruby highlights when held up to the light. Tan head. Coffee, toffee nose and a hint of alcohol. Toffee, caramel, toasty flavor. Slightly roasty. Well balanced, rich and flavorful. A classic example of the style.

Tried at Stubbie’s on draft in Gainesville, FL. This is what a a Doppelbock is supposed to be! Light brown head, dark body. Tastes like applejuice and caramel. Finishes with a faint alcohol taste. Would drink again.
