Commercial Description:
We brew Leichte Bräu -Weisse with the same high quality malt and hops as we use in Ayinger Bräu Weiss, just less of them. Our goal is to brew a beer with the delicious fruity wheat beer taste and low alcohol.

On tap (5.2%): Aromas of yeast, banana and spice. These flavors followed into a medium-bodied beer that was well-balanced with a bit of dryness to it.

Dark golden, hazy with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, clove and banana. The flavour is surprisingly powerful considering the low ABV, and IMO just as nice as many stronger wheat beers. It has sweetness and notes of wheat, clove, banana and the finish has a slightly dry citrus.

Bottle, Ayinger pub, Munich. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (bread), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Nothing special, but not bad for a light weissbier.

This beer pours a cloudy orange color with a medium head to it. It has a nice aroma of floral sencts and hops. as you drink it there is an initial bitterness with some tang on the back of your palate. It is very appealing and a ncie dinner beer.

Bottle. Hazy hefe, quite darkish yellow color. Not very flavorful and a bit watery. More on the hoppy spicy side than sweet. Ok. Re-rate: Much better on second tasting, almost on par with some regular hefes. Thick yeasty mouthfeel and surprisingly strong flavor for a leichte.

0,5l bottle at the Brauereigasthof, Aying 17 Jun 07. Dark golden coloured. Unclear. Hardly any aroma. Unvaried metallic flavor.

500ml bottle. Hazy amber body with a thin foamy head. Smell of green apples and cloves. A sharp, but short-lived taste of tart fruits followed by wheaty dryness. Rather thin palate and watery impression (Brauereigasthof, Aying 17.06.2007).
