Poured out hazy golden color, had a citrus smell to it. Very strong sweet wheat taste to it. Overall I would recommend it to anyone.

Tried this one at a pub in Rochester NY, and I got to say, I was not disappointed at all. Poured a nice cloudy, copper/yellow color with a white head. immediately I was struck by the banana bread-like smell and taste, though it was not as strong as some other hefeweizen’s I’ve tried. i see it’s listed as 3.2 ABV but the one I had was 5.2 ABV, must be cause I got it in the states.

Light yellow with lots of fluffy white head. Cloudy. Strong wheat and hop aroma. Tastes wheaty and spicy. Then the taste changes to pumpkin and cinnamon, and kind of a light sweet aftertaste. Good mouthfeel, pretty thick for a wheat beer, but not too meaty for the style.

On tap at the Huber Haus. Pours an amazing cloudy light gold with a cloud-like white head. Aroma is delightfully fruity and banana-like. Flavor is at first overwhelming banana esters, followed by a yeasty bolus. Slightly tart at the finish, but mostly a smooth balanced light beer (not calorie light I’m sure). Great summer beer.

Pours a pale gold color with massive white foamy head. Constant bubbles rise in the the glass. This beer is full of fruit and yeast aromas with hints of banana. I enjoy the very Belgian qualities that this beer has. A great drink when the weather gets warm. Another accomplished beer from Ayinger.

As expected, a little watery when compared to their other brews. However, for 3.2 ABV this is a very nice beer. Feels like it would go down well on a hot summer day. Bit fruity aroma, rather crisp. Flavor certainly lacks any real nature, but follows the aroma quite well. No real finish and feels very light.

On tap at Leon’s. The place is one fine beer and food establishment and you all should check it out. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a quickly dissipating frothy white head. Aroma is mostly spice and some banana. Flavor is like a light banana bread. Chewy grain and banana fruit with a tinge of spice. Could drink this for a meal in and of itself.
