Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

From a 500ml bottle--Poured a deep tawny-orange color with a robust and bustling head that soon disipated. Bready, grainy nose. Chewy mouth feel with full flavored hops and malts balance. Slightly spicy and noticeably sweet. This is what an Oktoberfest should taste like, I suppose.

500ml bottle. Pours a orangeish hue, with a powerful frothy head that dies down after a few minutes. The taste is smooth and easy; a soft malty sweetness, some bitterness and floral hops, and some spice. A good drink. Easy and tasty.

Pours light orange-nice white foamy head. Floral and clovey spices. Much better in flavor than scent.

Aroma is malty and nutty. Flavor is nutty, smooth, creamy malt. Slightly bitter to add balance. Good Oktoberfest.

Pours Amber color with off white head. Aroma has a bit of malt sweetness. Taste is a nice balance of sweetness, and malt with a slighlty bitter finish. One of the best Oktober fest beers for sure.

Celebrated with this one while watching the Red Sox World Series parade. A fine beer for a great moment and a great team. Pours a beautiful copper/golden color with a thick foamy off-white (almost tan) head. Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful malty notes and a sweet malty flavor that is exquisite on your palate. Loved it. If you look at my other reviews of Ayinger beers, you’ll see that I’m a huge fan of their brews. This one is no exception. Highly recommended.

Pours an amber orange with a thick creamy offwhite head. The aroma was malty, nutty, smokey, caramel. The flavor was rich and matly, a bit of smoke to it, caramel. More to the palate than most other oktoberfests.
