| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Bottle from BottleTrek.com. Orange in color with big head. Slight sweet and floral aroma. Sweet malty flavor with citrus and spice in the background. Medium to light mouthfeel, loads of carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish. One of the better German Oktoberfest. dmac (1442), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 27, 2007 500 ml bottle purchased at Monaghans. Poured an orange/amber with an initial large white head that settled into a thin layer that remained for most of the beer. Sweet malty aroma which reminded me off a mixture of chewy candy...caramel, toffee, butterscotch, molases. Body was a little to thin and the carbonation could of used some bulking up. Initial fruity flavor that is quickly taken over by a smokey maltiness. I was expecting more from this since it is rated rather high. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Crisp fruity aroma, flavor is citrus and floral hops and hint of spice. Some similarity to a weißbier, but definitely an Oktoberfest kempicus (350), Wellington, New Zealand
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 21, 2007 Unfiltered straight from an oak cask at an Ayinger pub in Munich (near to the hofbrauhaus) This was the best Oktoberfest beer of our trip which is ironic because Ayinger is not a Munich brewery and therefore is not present at the Oktoberfest. I loved this beer it had a huge mouth feel and really tasted and felt like a real Marzen. shrubber85 (2874), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma. Medium amber with large tan head. Light molasses and barley malt flavor with moderate hops finish. A much bigger flavor than most beers of this style. Excellent. redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Huge, very sparkly/bubbly head... pours a clear dark yellow color. Very malty and floral aroma. Very smooth beer, dry, malty taste. A little bit of citrus. Not my favorite Oktoberfest/Marzen... but a good one nonetheless.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Pours a nice clear amber with a medium white head, and laces nicely down till the end. The aroma was not straight-forward but i did catch glimpses of citrus towards the end. Overall, a very nice beer actually one of my favorites so far. Maverick34 (695), New York, USA
