good lager overall valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA Sep 13, 2007 On tap at local restaurant. Nice golden color with a sweet malt aroma characteristic of a Marzen. Notes are minimal (don’t take paper/pencil to a restaurant...) but it had a very enjoyable and easy-to-drink flavor...some hops, but mostly malt. Would definitely pick one of these up again beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA Sep 12, 2007 Nice amlty aroma with a thich white head on an amber body of luscious clear lager. Big ,alty flavor wih a touch of spiceyness. I love this beer. Nihon (239), Vernon, Connecticut, USA Sep 9, 2007 Slightly ruby redish color, very good carbonation. Very malty, and lightly sweet aroma. Dry, mildly bready flavor, good mild bitterness. I agree with the herbal notes others have mentioned as well. raymondwave (867), Finland Sep 9, 2007 Updated: Sep 30, 2007(Teerenpeli, Helsinki). Very good amber looks, almost champagne like bubbles. Toasty and bready, malty and tasty. Some paper and cartboard, but not in a bad way. Dry and tasty, very good. 19641948 (492), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Sep 8, 2007 Pours a subtle cloudy golden amber color with an aggressive head of white. Nice lacing. Aromas are quite pleasing with a toasty grain scent and a firm bready note. Herbal tea hop notes detected. Entertaining biscuit flavors liven up the palate, along with a snap of herbal hop tones. Toasty aftertaste. Clean and dry. Three 500ml bottles were promptly dispatched in a sitting; the drinkability was amazing.
