Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Appearance: This Oktoberfest pours a clear golden/amber color with a larger, two fingered white head. Aroma: This puppy goose-steps in with a malty aroma. (you can feel the lederhosen in the air) The flavor is malty and sweet with a clean, crisp finish. This is a very enjoyable Oktoberfest and a nice example of the style

Bottle, Christmas gift. Poured an orange, light amber color with a medium to large, long lasting off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, bread, fruit, yeast and vanilla. One of the best tasting of the style that I have had. Alot of sweentess, caramel and bread in the forefront, with a touch of earthy bitterness in the finish. A long and pleasing aftertaste. Nice session beer.

Bottle. A murky amber orange color. The nose has some true spice (cinnamon, ginger) to add to the heavy malt. A good dry, malty, citrus, and spice flavor.

Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Copper to amber color with creamy head. Sweetish, toasty and toffeish aroma. Very rich malty flavor with toasty, nutty and caramelly notes. Mild bitterness, just enough for a balance. Very good maltiness, good beer with various foods.

Clear, copperish, amber... layer of head starts big, then dwindles, leaving lace... Comforting nose. Plenty of malt at play. Tender esters of fruit, herb, vegetals, ...ultimately dryish. Taste: clean and smooth and loaded with juicy malt. Very stream-lined and tasty. Lean in body, but unfailing in flavor. Classic. Quite a delicious lager here. Tas-tee, let me say, tas-teee...
