Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Served a light-hazed, honey/copper with a tight, white head that leaves ragtag streamers of lace. Sweetly malted aroma which carries through to the flavor as honeyed pale malts with just enough hops to add a bitter citrus lift to the finish. Tingly, finishing dry, and sessionably dangerous.

My first Octoberfest beer, and I really enjoyed it. The head lasts, and the aroma was like honey and flowers. Slight note of alcohol, but seems to add the beer.

Clear sparkling amber with a very nice white frothy head. The aroma is very German, malt with hints of floral hops. Flavor is quite nice, balanced maltiness with a dose of sweetness. The body is medium and smooth. Very nice marzen.

Pours an amber orange with a thick creamy offwhite head. The aroma was malty, nutty, smokey, caramel. The flavor was rich and matly, a bit of smoke to it, caramel. More to the palate than most other oktoberfests.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours hazy amber color with a white head, aroma of sweet malts, citrus, and hops. Flavor is malty, sweet, citrus, and spice. Not my favorite Oktoberfest, but good.

More malt in the nose than in the taste! It has a dry grassy finish, but is very uninteresting.
