| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 2, 2002 Orange in color with an average off-white head with good lacing. Body is sparklingly clear. Aroma is moderately malty and smells of sugary cereal and dough with hints of honey. Initial flavor is moderately sweet and finishes less sweet with medium bitterness. Lively carbonation, with a light and airy finish. I started October with a great Oktoberfest! Darkover (1314), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured amber/orange with a fluffy, slightly off-white head. Aroma had some sweet leafiness but definitely dominated by malt. Palate was smooth and a little syrupy. Taste of mild hops and a caramel sweetness, but the malt was prominent and finished sweet and earthy. Amazingly well balanced and it hit the spot. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2006 Draft at the Munchen resturaunt. This bier was a great change from the Hofbrau we had been drinking. I would recommend trying this beer if you are ever in Munchen. Take a visit through the Hofbrauhuis across the street but drink at the Ayinger resturaunt. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2003 Aroma of this brew is pleasant, consistent with the style, forecasting nice toasty malt. Beer pours very light brown almost copper, but lighter with a big fluffy off-white head that is retained. There is some lacing. Flavor follows up the style. Flavor is initially sweet, with a little toast. Tasty.
