Lots of sweet malts and a great mouthfeel. Probably the best Marzen I’ve had so far in this life. ditmier (1110), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 28, 2005 Went into this one with high expectations, usually dont’ like malty Oktoberfests, but this one was different. Nice pour of a copper color with a beautiful creamy thick head (maybe nicest I’ve seen in a while). Taste was of malts, caramel and a bit of hops usually not found in this style, Overall an awesome beer and I’d have to say the best of this style I’ve had. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

smell is faint, some malt, some caramel.
taste is watery at first then thickens up, malt, touch of roasted nuts, caramel comes through in the back, bread dough, end is a tad chewy and leave the mouth oily, slight bitter aftertaste. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Pours out an orange color with a large white head. aroma is citrusy, spicy, and very malty. Flavor is very much the same. I was overly supprised at this one. I enjoy octoberfest beers, but rarely come across one that tastes as good as this one.
