Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Orange/golden beer, nothing too overly interesting, however it is a good beer.

Decided to try this one due to the arrival oof the season. It poured with a good head and color. The flavor was crisp and clean with a well suited mouth feel. I will get this again this weekend.

Tap at Andy’s. Passed this one up many times in bottle form at Circle Liquors in Pennington, NJ. Don’t know why. Glad I had it on tap. Notes on this one went kaput, but I’ll tell you, its worth a solid try. Not the very best oktober/marzen but pretty damng good.

Poured a orange tinted amber from the bottle with a then lacing white head. I didn’t notice any aroma whatsoever, which was disappointing. Initial flavor was pleasing though, slightly roasted malt flavor, carmel and apple flavors. Finish is clean but citrus. Great seasonal beer. If it had any semblence of an aroma it would be a home run.

Pours hazy amber color with off white head. Sweet fruit, caramel and bread aromas. Flavor is moderately sweet caramel and some fruits. Medium body with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. An excellent Oktoberfest brew.

Couldy orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is floral and malty as the description says. Has a predominant toasted malt taste followed by some hops, and a slight caramel raisin taste with some spice. I love malts and I love this bad boy. I wish I could get this at a decent price.

Bottle. Poured out a perfect orange-red amber hue with a heavy foaming off-white head. A nice doughy malt smell on this rich malty beer. A good oktoberfest beer that delivers a playful balance of malt and hops that finishes creamy and smooth.
