Oct 10, 2003 A decent light copper color and off white head start off this brew. Nose is very much dominated by the malt, and needs the addition of some other elements to improve. Flavor is also quite malty, and a little sweet as well. Also a nice crispness to this one. Overall, a nice beer, but far from a great one.

Aug 18, 2009 500 ml. bottle. Pours a thin white head, over a slightly cloudy Pale amber (SRM 8-9) body.....nose is very malty, with cereal, carmel, some spice notes....tastes primarily of sweet malts, with soft caramel, toffee, cereal, somewhat sweet throughout....mouth feel is light and soft, carbonation low. Meets the style exactly.

Oct 6, 2006 Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is bready and fruity with a bit of caramel in there. Palate seems slightly thin. Nice sweetness.

Oct 18, 2008 light orange with quickly disapperaring large white head. flavor is very subtle, the malt character is of a very mild but pleasant caramel malt. the bitterness is stronger than I expected and is a little distracting. not as good as i had imagined, only a decent marzen
