Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Copper-orange coloured beer with firm beige head. Malty aroma with tones of citrus and herbs. Firy flavor with caramell and almond tones. Dry with a firm bitterness.

Pours a clear light golden orange color with a thin .5 finger off-white fizzy that that quickly dissipates into a thin ring that leaves minimal lacing. Sweet malt aroma with subtle floral hops and yeast , brown sugar, biscuit and cinnamon. Kind of bland actually. Medium bodied and kind of watered down with a decent balance of sweet malt, subtle spice, bready yeast and floral hops. The malt profile is slightly toasty with some sweet caramel notes. Slightly dry finish. Well-balanced but not something that I would seek out regularly.

Felt like a fest beer and this is all I could find in July. Light brown color with a surprisingly thick and lasting eggshell white head. Very malty aroma. Taste is all malt of course, but not too sweet. Some caramel and floral hops as well. Creamy mouthfeel and a pleasant finish, not too sticky like many marzens. Dangerously quaffable for an oktoberfest... I’ll be drinkin this again in a few months.

Good beer, but not the best Oktoberfest ever, Weak, but very good flavor. I wish it was a stronger flavor.

Amberish, thin but lasting head , decent lace. Sweet malty, bready aroma, light caramel and hops. Medium bodied, lovely sweet malt balanced nicely by hop character. Tastes very fresh, I have had this before and the hops have never been this bold (for a Ofest) Excellent for my first of this year.

Bottle as shown. Pours a copper golden with a large frothy white head taht lasts awhile. The aroma is a wheat malt with grain and caramel. Good sticky lacing on the glass. Thin mouthfeel with a sour taste and a sweet finish. Easy to drink, a decent marzen from Ayinger.
