| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Poured from the bottle a clear, orange color with a dense bubbly white head. A strong apple juice note, light floral hops, sweet caramel, light hay grain with some light toasted malt notes but mostly sweet apple presence. Flavor has a sweet apple and grape fruitiness up front, a straw/hay grainy middle, a very mild grass and noble hops note with a very sweet caramel malt ending. Great syrup/sugary density to it, mild carbonation rate and a semi-creamy note. Overall a great Oktoberfest brew and one I will definitely look forward to when the fall season comes a knocking.
