Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Bottle. Lots o' malt. Fiarly sweet taste to me. Very nice and light. I don't mean that as a bad thing, it just doesn't drop like a bag of bricks. Nice carbonation. Very good oktoberfest.

Pours a honey amber with a big fluffly rocky white head. Nice carmelly aroma, subtle hoppiness in the nose. Perfectly balanced in the mouth... exactly what a Maerzen should be. Malty, balanced noble hop bitterness, clean finish. Beautiful beer.

Decided to try this one due to the arrival oof the season. It poured with a good head and color. The flavor was crisp and clean with a well suited mouth feel. I will get this again this weekend.

Bottle from Peace St. Market, Raleigh, NC. Another great Ayinger beer. Copper pour, with caramel malt, toffee, and spice aromas. Tastes caramel malty, with some cinnamon and spices in the finish, coupled with a firm mouthfeel and great balance and complexity. More hops as it warms. Great.

(500 ml bottle, neat bottle cap!) Pours a medium cloudy amber-orange, nice biscuit head, good lacing. Rich malty aroma, also swear I can smell the inside of a pumpkin! Flavor is oh so rich and malty with nice halo of smokiness. Excellent Marzen.

The bubbles emerge from the base, then slowly dance gracefully yet timid neck, only to ensure the everlasting foam...."word"-Millla...roasted malt aromas ..dense thick head...seasonally beautiful...."damn she tastes good against the wall ....she likes the style..but only once in a while...."-Funk....."dancing on the neck"......
