Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Pours a golden color with a good sided white head. Leaves some soapy lacing. Sweat malty aroma. Love the mouth feel on this one. Flavors of caramel, spice and a light hop kick on the end. Good carbonation. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Pours a crisp, clear caramel color with medium white head. Aroma is caramel, fresh toasted bread with a slight floral undertone. Flavor is very smooth, bready notes and toasted malt to start then caramel and a slight touch of hops and a wheat bitterness. Very smooth on the palate, extremely quaffable. Fantastic beer, tops in the style.

WITH-OUT ? 1 OF THE TOP MARZEN-OKTOBERFEST STYLES BAR-NONE.... the balance in the malt & hops is outstanding.. not over-cloying or sweet, just right amount, to make you want to keep pounding it down your worthless pie-hole

Poured a apricot color, with 3 finger with head, that is pretty frothy but looks to light to hang around too long. Aroma =has a bit of an earthy smell, can detect a little spice in it, but aroma is pretty weak overall. Taste = Wonderful malty backbone, getting a sweet, light peachy flavor in this, and a toasted bready flavor also. This is a really exceptionally smooth, clean beer, feels light on the tounge. Overall, this is an exceptionally good oktoberfest, possibly even my favorite so far.

sweet nose that is not too strong. light brown pour with a nice foamy off white head. Taste of caramel and i agree with the taste of sweet hay or straw. lingers nicely on the palate. very smooth mouth feel.

500 ml bottle. It has probably been sitting for about a year. pours a light copper with a small/average white head. aAoma has hints of apples ,some fruit and spices. Favor is about the same with mild bitterness. Very sweet. I.m not the biggest lager.marzen fan,but this one was good.

Golden orange with a large frothy off-white head. It has a sweet, lightly hopped aroma. The medium body is lively and finishes semi-dry and lightly acidic.
