Body is hazy medium amber, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted light bread, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers), with notes of orange and peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly acidic. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Ah, and so the re-rate with fresher product arrives! This is the Ayinger I remember...their inimitable malt character combined with a great flavor balance makes this one of the best IMHO. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

This brew has a huge caramley sweetness, no hop, all malt. It has a full body, and a cloying finish. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Clear copper color with a small off white head that leaves some lacing in my glass. Sweet bready, grainy aromas, light grainy, nutty and caramel flavors, finishes clean and dry. Light to medium bodied with a crisp and carbonated mouthfeel, a well done Oktoberfest, I look forward to this every year. bb (2976), Martinez, California, USA

Aroma is of slightly toasted malts. Flavor is a rich malty, but very smopoth and not heavy - somewhat nutty with a bit of spice. This is easy to drink and I'd be willing to drink a lot of it. beerstop (173), Roanoke, Virginia, USA

pours a hazy honey color with floaties. The fully lasting large creamy off-white head has
excellent lacing. The balanced and pleasant nose hints of dark bread, cereal, herbs, spruce,
citrus, earth, pineapple, honey, spices and alcohol. The moderate balanced sweet then
bitter flavor is not astoundingly complex, but is very nice. The medium soft
dry body is on the edge of creaminess, and finishes moderately alcoholic. I love this
style. I love this brew.
