Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Nice maltiness to this beer. A bit too sweet for an Oktoberfest, but still good.

This is more on par with Celebrator than their Ur-weisse, but still not quite at that level. Purple grape juice aroma with hint of chocolate. Reddish-brown hue and consistent head lead to a light, slightly bubbly mouthfeel. Malty and predominantly flavored by grape, this is a great brew. A bit rich, not something I could drink all night, this should probably be enjoyed only once every so often.

This brew smells sweet. Very dry on the tongue and in the aftertaste. I liked it.

Orange-gold, puffy white head. Nose has caramel, a bit toasty. Flavor has loads of caramel, nicely sweet. Less biscuity than most marzens, but in a very good way, very nice malty character. A bit light on the hops, but enjoyably sticky.

Amberish, thin but lasting head , decent lace. Sweet malty, bready aroma, light caramel and hops. Medium bodied, lovely sweet malt balanced nicely by hop character. Tastes very fresh, I have had this before and the hops have never been this bold (for a Ofest) Excellent for my first of this year.

A good oktoberfest, but not the best one out there. It has that traditional flavor, but I wasn't feeling how sweet it was. Maybe a little more hops and a little less sweet would do it.

The real thing. Malty and perilously drinkable.

Appearance: This Oktoberfest pours a clear golden/amber color with a larger, two fingered white head. Aroma: This puppy goose-steps in with a malty aroma. (you can feel the lederhosen in the air) The flavor is malty and sweet with a clean, crisp finish. This is a very enjoyable Oktoberfest and a nice example of the style
