Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Bottle. Pours amber with a large fluffy off-white head, nice lacing. Nice caramel, soft toasted malts, some fruit and a touch of spicy hops. Toasty sweet malts, slight fruits, a touch of alcohol at it very warmest, earthy hop finish. Very smooth, lush mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Spectacular surprise on tap at the Ayinger outlet off Marianplatz in Munchen. This was the hoppiest Bavarian beer I have tried to date and extremely pleasant because of it. Reddish in color, which is unique to the array of Bavarian beers too. Really a splendid festbier. Alcohol is undetectable in the taste or palate but permeates your body with pleasure. I’m so grateful I was at the brewery outlet in Munich during fest time.

A- Pours a clear dark orange hue with amber tones, huge craggy off-white head that settles down to a thin layer, moderate lacing S- Nose is moderate bread/biscuit malts and yeast, hints of caramel, spices, and slight citrus hops, very refreshing T- Initial taste is sweet and rich malts with an overall bready flavor, transitions to grain and nuts (pecans), finishes with slight hop bitterness that resolves quite quickly M- Light-to-medium body, creamy texture with lively carbonation D- Nicely balanced marzen that seems to capture the essence of the traditional ’octoberfest’ style, very easy-to-drink with a robust taste profile

Pours an orange amber color with a huge white head that falls off to some nice sticky white lace around the glass. Aroma is bready maltiness, caramel and some spiciness from the hops. Flavor is bready caramel maltiness with some spiciness from the hops in the finish.

Pours a deep amber color with a really nice orange hue. Really fluffy white head. Smells of sweet malts and alcohol. Taste is well balanced, but a little fizzy and alcoholic. Still pretty solid.

Malty grainy aroma with touch of spicy hops. Mostly clear orange amber with small white head. Nice malt profile in flavor. Sweet with touch of almost orange citrus notes. Medium body and mouth feel. Finish is malty with touch of residual bitterness. Very Tasty

Awesome Oktoberfest beer. A little sweet, a little hoppy, and plenty of grain dominates the palate. White head on top of a golden body, great beer.
