This translates into a great toasty malt flavor with minimal bitterness, some grape notes and yeastiness in the background. Great amber color with huge frothy off-white head that stuck around for almost half the beer. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this beer is the full malty palate. The aroma was malty, a little yeasty and spicy. Fresh and zesty mouthfeel, a lightly toasted malt flavor with a faint hoppy note and touch of orange citrus. The finish was mild and slightly sweet. Whole grains, doughy bread, lightly toasted character. Full and smooth in the mouth. Slightly crisp finish, the hops provide light bitterness and a spicy tingle.
