Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

cloudy orange/amber color, large frothy head that dissipates quickly, malty-spicy aroma, a bit of candy sweetness, some fruitiness; flavor is malty with touches of spiciness, a fruity background, a precise and strong sweetness - but not cloying, flavor doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, a bit tingly with a decent texture

Light amber color, huge beige head. Aroma of toast and caramel. Flavor of sweet malt and nuts. Dry finish.

Excellent Oktoberfest. Great color, malty flavor and good punch. If you like Oktoberfests, you’ll like this.

Great maltiness in the body with a slight sweetness. Definitely one of my favorite Oktoberfests.

Aroma of this brew is pleasant, consistent with the style, forecasting nice toasty malt. Beer pours very light brown almost copper, but lighter with a big fluffy off-white head that is retained. There is some lacing. Flavor follows up the style. Flavor is initially sweet, with a little toast. Tasty.

This is a good German interretation of the style. Medium bodied with a great malty sweetness. Easily the equal of a Paulaner.

A lot better than I expected. A little bit bitter, but nice flavor and appearance.
