Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Right on!! Perfect marzen style. Rich, malty, a touch of roast, full body. My only complaint is that the nose didn’t do this beer much justice. Very thin aroma. The flavor I enjoyed so much that it didn’t matter. Highly recommended, particularly at octoberfest time.

A very malty Oktoberfest beer and very flavorful. Not much in terms of hoppiness in this brew, since the nutty caramel character of this brew overshadows everything else here. I like this brew, but make sure you’re a malt fan if you try it.

Nice looking amber beer. Decent head. Very smooth soft malts and mildly sweet. Hops are pushed to the background but have a slight drying presence towards the end. The mouthfeel and body on this one is right on. One of the better Oktoberfest beers that I have had the privelege to enjoy.

A very nice beer that defines the style with slightly higher alcohol than normal and with malty character that comes through very nicely. Probably my favorite Märzen.

Yellow-orange-red. This is just an average beer, nothing real exiting, but it doesn’t have any noticeable downsides either. Best oktoberfest-marzen i’ve had.

bottle from a local german restauraunt. pours dark orange with a nice tan head. taste is sweet and refreshing. maybe a little too filling for an oktober fest, or maybe all the sausage i ate was what was filling. pretty malty tasting, but not bad. i like this, and id buy it again if i see it. good

Hazy light orange in color with a small but lasting head. Aroma is nutty and very malty. The flavor is very malty with some balancing bitterness. Very easy to drink: luckily my two half liters were on a Friday night.
