Aug 29, 2008 .5 l bottle from GM Liquors; Nose is caramel, malts, slight sweetness and spices, and a light apricot note; hazy copper-orange with a big beige head; flavor is pepperiness, spices, caramel, and light hop bitterness. Pretty good stuff!

Feb 12, 2006 Thanks to my brother-in-law for this one (excellent guy). The aroma checks in with a nice creamy maltyness that smelled clean with no skunk as other reviews may have mentioned. Flavors were really creamy, malty, nutty flavor that was really enjoyable. A really nice beer.

Apr 22, 2008 Looks and smells great. Golden brown with a big foamy head. Smells like a hike through a valley filled with flowers next to a clear running stream. Flavor was not complex enough to match the aroma, but it went down smooth. Overall, I am enjoying this.

Jul 2, 2006 Updated: Jul 4, 2006I thought this was very good for the style. Pours a hazy amber. Malty aroma. Flavor of malt with hints of fruit and caramel. Nutty flavor and easy to drink. Tasty brew, I could drink a lot of this.

Sep 17, 2007 Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Copper to amber color with creamy head. Sweetish, toasty and toffeish aroma. Very rich malty flavor with toasty, nutty and caramelly notes. Mild bitterness, just enough for a balance. Very good maltiness, good beer with various foods.

Feb 22, 2009 Poured amber in color with a creamy, off-white head that settle to a thin cover and left light lacing. The aroma was of caramel, spices, and a light roast. The flavor found chocolate and spices. Light body with a malty aftertaste.
