Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

I thought this was very good for the style. Pours a hazy amber. Malty aroma. Flavor of malt with hints of fruit and caramel. Nutty flavor and easy to drink. Tasty brew, I could drink a lot of this.

Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Copper to amber color with creamy head. Sweetish, toasty and toffeish aroma. Very rich malty flavor with toasty, nutty and caramelly notes. Mild bitterness, just enough for a balance. Very good maltiness, good beer with various foods.

Pours Amber color with off white head. Aroma has a bit of malt sweetness. Taste is a nice balance of sweetness, and malt with a slighlty bitter finish. One of the best Oktober fest beers for sure.

Pours dark golden color with a small off whitish head. Sweet aroma, a mix of malt and floral hops. The flavor is good, mostly malty (bread), a little nuttiness and some mild hops. The flavor lasts in the enjoyable aftertaste, medium body, would love to get a liter of this on tap in Germany.

Found a bottle 11/1/08 in Wordens in Missoula, MT. It is very good. Sweet and malty, with a little bit of a Belgian taste. Thumbs up! A nice Octoberfest brew.

Brewed in Germany... Pours a golden amber color with a super thin white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma of bread, malts, flowers and caramel. Taste of bread, honey, caramel and flowers. Mouthfeel in medium in body with a slight dry sweet finish. This beer is very pleasant to drink and would be wonderful at your local O-Fest. :)

Bottle pours a clear, golden, orange color with a dense, foamy, white head. Sweet, bready malt, honey, caramel, and apple aromas. Flavor has more of the bready malt characteristics along with dried fruit and hoppy notes. Nice lingering aftertaste. Tasty.

Pours amber, moderate head. Smells very sweet. Delicious flavor, sweet and malty. Some hops slightly come through in the background. Leaves a sweet aftertaste. Great all around Maerzen, very drinkable.
