A pretty good beer, but a little less flavor then I expected compared to others of the type. The bottle was near the "Best by" date. Will try again, and possibly rerate. Dorqui (1357), Brescia, Italy

Dark orange color, a lot hazy, dense and bubbly. Much rich and fruity scent with wine cellar notes, braced wheat and cereals. Sweetish and aged scent, not much prickly. Pleasant and balanced alcoholic tone with aged malty end.

Yeast, bready wheat, fine prickly carbonation. The summer beer to kill all summer beers. But is it a dunkel? Half dunkel, maybe? smokeykhan (2), Norfolk, Virginia, USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 3, 2006 This 1pint 1 oz bottle just barley fit into my mug. I poured 2/3 of the bottle and got a nice big head. Aroma was great; lots of cloves. It reminded me of some Belgians I have had. Once the head had subsided (which it did rather quickly) I poured the rest of the bottle in. Lots of carbonation bubbles on the tongue. Good, but a little thin. Loses aroma and a little flavor as I make my way through the glass. rederic (1803), montréal, Quebec, Canada
