| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Small yellow head; orange amber beer, very slight haze. Clovey nose, and some coloured malts; Fruity esters, some banana, citrus... Again fruity-estery, sweet oranges and even apricot in the taste. Wheaty sourishness lends some body going over in classic wheat slickness. Good, not really a Dunkel, more an amber; good basic Hefeweizen. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Aroma was sweet and banana and spices. Flavor was much the same, either yeast/wheat flavor to it. Would do this one again quality beer." mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Medium bodied. A complex and very pleasant Weizen ! ihopgod (12), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2006 An excellent alternative to Weihenstephaner when that isn’t available. The aroma is banana and clove goodness (as perhaps expected). Nice dark (slight haziness) color with a light head that quickly fades. I would recommend this to anyone who likes wheat. Don’t forget to try the Bell’s Wheat Series (most specifically the ’8’ and the ’Love Ale’) thegreenrooster (1818), St.louis, Missouri, USA
