Pours an extremely cloudy amber, top off by a foamy off-white head.
Quite sweet, typical hefe aroma of fruity yeast & wheat. Citrus and a hint of spices.
Surprisingly dry flavor of wheat and yeast. Some dry, faintly bitterish hops. Dry, slighly hayish finish with a hint of alcohol.
Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A bit gassy though. Fairly smooth. Clean mouthfeel. Very refreshing. FrankJohansen (3366), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

Philip was generous enough to grab this for me, for an in person trade. I’ll drink this in a toast to his generosity. This bottle poured a very cloudy and murky deep amber/brown body, capped my a lucious and creamy foamy cap. In the nose, sweet banana is the main contender. Also in the ring arespicy cloves, and an underlying bready aroma. Flavours consist of sweet fruit and clove, apple pastries, and just a tad of a bitter bite. Smooth finish, with a slight fruity bite that lingers. This style keeps me wanting more. Many thanks again to Philip for the opportunity! kseecs16 (873), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2006 Pours a hazy deep amber with a moderate off-white head. The aroma is like a spicy bread with an underlying sweet wheat aroma. The flavor is sweeter than I expected what could be fruits mingle to taste like sugary bubblegum with very little lingering bitterness. It is foamy and smooth in the mouth, going down quite easy. moseefus (58), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Aroma was a fantastic blend of the the roasted wheat, fruits (bananna and maybe a bit of apple) and the spices (cloves). A very wonderful Heffe tast on the palat but not as sweet at the Brau Weiss. Very smooth with a plesant aftertaste. Was wonderful with the Bratwurst and Kraut. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
