Mar 15, 2008 Aroma is strong and "wheaty" with a bit of an alcohol nip and a hint of citrus. Color is a cloudy, light brownish amber, translucent but not clear. Flavor is strongly wheaty, with just a whisper of citrus, no hoppy or bitter taste. It dances on the tongue as it goes down and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. I recommend it to all weizen fans.

May 28, 2008 Pours a cloudy murky orange with an off-white head. Aroma is clove, spice, wheat, and banana. Flavor is good, palate is perfect.

Nov 1, 2004 Huge delicious head that quickly dissipated. Cloudy copper color. Some yeast. Very sweet and fruity. A good dunkel. Beautiful looking and delicious.

Dec 10, 2002 Some fruit taste, but foremost was a strong synthetic plasticy/rubbery flavor that I didn’t like. Sour aftertaste with an acetic apple taste throughout. I think they would have been better off leaving the malt out.

Feb 14, 2009 500 Ml Bottle-Trade w/after4ever-pours a cloudy golden color w/a slight white head. Sweet, banana aroma. Sweet flavor of wheat, banana, green apple, orange peel, bread dough, colander, vanilla, & pepper. Had a lot of carbonation to it. Very easy to drink, very enjoyable. Long yeasty finish, a real winner. Thanks Tom!

Aug 20, 2007 (bottle): Pous a dark brown yellow color, very cloudy and effervescent. Big white foamy head. Very effervescent, citrusy, lemonry, some wheat. Not very strong. Wheaty, citrusy, effervescent. Watery. A nice light beer.

Feb 22, 2009 1/21/09 From the bottle. Aroma is sour banana forward with a spicy phenol background. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sour forward that fades to sweet and highly fruity with a very light peppering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, with a low carb texture. Overall, quite good, but seems more like a standard German hef than a Dunkel.
