Oct 7, 2002 Dark cloudy apple cider color with a fruity scent. The fruit continues into the taste with a crisp wheat flavor which finishes with no bitterness. Seems like a fairly hardy beer, which I like. Overall, a very good wheat that I would get again.

Oct 27, 2002 One of the darker wheats I’ve had the pleasure of drinking. Nice big head with aromas of orange and malt. A good amount of barley and wheat taste. A little bit of clove taste, as well.Nice soft finish.

Jan 2, 2007 The color was an amber-orange. The head was full, creamy and extremely fluffly. The aroma had a sweet wheat smell. The flavor had hints of citris, srong wheat taste, with a bite to it. The palate was carbonated, and strong yeast. The finish was waxy with slight spice.

Dec 30, 2009 Bottle (small sample). Light gold pour, banana and clove on the nose. Clove taste, medium mouthfeel, and a little tang to the taste. Pretty good.

Mar 3, 2004 reddiosh opaque, rusty brown. Huge, thick white head. Ester qualities emerge immediately and prevalently. Citrucy and light for an Ur. MAlty and rich. a very lively palate brings on some toasty malt character and subdued fruitiness and hop presence. somewhat noticeable alcohol on finish brings out the phenolitic quality. Light and refreshing with a solid alcohol punch, I think its a good summer ur-weisse.

Aug 21, 2006 Good roasted malt scent, bready. Light citrus, dough, banana and clove aroma. Cloudy amber with frothy brown head. Sweet flavor with slight hints of a sour and bitter finish and some fruity notes. Palate is good and chewy. Very good overall.

Sep 12, 2006 Cloudy gold apple cider color with a short lasting head. Sweet, fresh-baked bread aromas. Chewy, with a grainy texture and flavors of butterscotch and juicy malts. Slightly sweet, but balanced between fruitiness and malts.
