Apr 27, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Hazy orange brown color with fluffy head. Strong and fresh aromas of banana, clove, tart fruits, smoke and wheat. The flavor is very wheaty and malty with banana, clove and tart fruitiness. Full bodied oily palate with sharp carbonation. Excellent!

May 28, 2008 Pours a cloudy murky orange with an off-white head. Aroma is clove, spice, wheat, and banana. Flavor is good, palate is perfect.

Dec 2, 2009 (Bottle) Pours hazy orange with a creamy head. The aroma is fruity with tones of oranges, apricots and bananas. Phenols bring notes of incense and clove. Undertones of mint, vanilla and flowers. The flavour is light sweet, light bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of oranges, banana clove and flowers. The mouthfeel is round and robust. Near medium carbonation. Some wheat and banana in the finish. Medium bodied.

Aug 21, 2006 Good roasted malt scent, bready. Light citrus, dough, banana and clove aroma. Cloudy amber with frothy brown head. Sweet flavor with slight hints of a sour and bitter finish and some fruity notes. Palate is good and chewy. Very good overall.

Feb 9, 2007 Deep orange/amber color with a half inch of fizzy head. Warm citrusy flavor with a bit of yeast and bread taste. Lighter tasting than a typical dunkelweizen, but very enjoyable.

Aug 11, 2008 500ml bottle. My first Dunkelweizen. Pours a cloudy brown color with a good sized tan head. Sweet banana with spice aroma with a tart clean palate. Delicious flavor with banana, wheat & cloves being the major players. Very good.

Oct 25, 2007 This beer is like Ayinger Hefe Weisse with more of a bite. The longer I drank it the better it tasted. Was it a case of, "The women all get prettier at closing time"? Hell No! This is great weizen beer. Once again, I’ll let others bore with the usual "Banana, cloves, bubble gum" descriptions.

Jul 26, 2007 Hazy reddish golden with nice foam. Citrus, banana wheat aromas, with a yeasty, doughy flavor. There are touches of clovey spice, and banana as well. Drank this after being outside on a hot day and it really hit the spot.
