I don’t drink alot of wheat beers, so I’m not familiar with anything like this. The well-caramelized barley malt dominates up front with an almost Belgian earthy, bready aroma. Strong toffee, caramel, butterscotch flavors though the wheat makes its presence in a clean, tart finish. A great beer for a warm day when your thirst wants a weiss but your mind says - give me something chewy. rmalloy (195), los angeles, California, USA

Lighter in color than most dunkelweizens. Aroma is light banana, hints of green apple and clove, along with nice bready hints form the yeast and malt. Flavor is slightly nutty, with hints of roast, but is moslty wheat followed by some fruity esters. Overall, this is very subdued and subtle, but very well done. Smooth and creamy palate, whith jsut a slight graininess. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Aroma of bubble gum and yeast. Crisp muted citrus flavor with some bubble gum notes and a velvety mouthfeel make this a winner. 5.8% alcohol hidden extremely well. skortila (2914), Bunnik, Netherlands

Cloudy, orange coloured with a lasting, creamy, off-white head. Taste is sweet with banana, citrus, yeast and some earthy/bread like background. Quite nice, well bodied and refreshing weizen. rickgordon (3340), Göteborg, Sweden

Cloudy pale orange with medium-sized creamy head. Fruity aroma with elegant banana touch along with peat and clove. Big-ish body with light acidity, nice fruitiness and light phenolic, as in tin. Rounded smooth mouthfeel. Great hefe yet again!
