| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Pours very cloudy murky deep copper/light amber. Nice frothy off white head. Lighter in color than most dunkelweizens. Aroma is light banana, hints of green apple and clove, along with nice bready hints form the yeast and malt. Flavor is slightly nutty, with hints of roast, but is moslty wheat followed by some fruity esters. Overall, this is very subdued and subtle, but very well done. Smooth and creamy palate, whith jsut a slight graininess. Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland
