It gives you hints of orange and subtle tart fruits from start to finish. Very smooth and delicate on the palate, enjoyable. The smell and apperance are rather standard. I must add that this does contain ample spicing. Complexity and flavor is all there, I like it! Crosling (1856), Loveland, Colorado, USA

Lovely caramel and toffee aromas with hints of bubble gum, clove, banana, apple, spruce, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is very rich, unlike most other Dunkelweizens I’ve tasted. Peanut butter and chocolate, with hints of peppers, which leads into a finish full of bubble gum, banana, fruit and other various yeast attributes. A very good beer. lamas (733), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 17/20 | Aug 20, 2005 500mL bottle. Label is slightly different than that in the picture. A murky iced-tea brown pour with a thick, fizzy tan head. Wheaty, lemony/banana, yeasty aroma with plenty of sweet malts underneath. Carbonation is very high and definitely detracts from the taste. It’s still very apparent that this is a delightfully well-balanced beer. Ample sweet, bready malts compliment the wheat and yeasty tanginess throughout. There are hints of apple pie filling in the aroma and taste. FrankJohansen (3399), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

The aroma is banana and clove goodness (as perhaps expected). Nice dark (slight haziness) color with a light head that quickly fades. I would recommend this to anyone who likes wheat. Don’t forget to try the Bell’s Wheat Series (most specifically the ’8’ and the ’Love Ale’) oh6gdx (9109), Vasa, Finland
