Oct 8, 2007 500ml brown bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber like the colour of an oktoberfest. Head was huge upon first pour - 3 or 4 fingers high at least. Quite foamy and fluffy, it eventually settled down to a respectable half inch in size and stayed there for msot of the glass. Little lacing. Aroma was on the sweet side. Primiarily clove and some lemon, with fruity banana and apple notes. Flavour was wheat malts, some caramel malt sweetness and banana. Yeasty dry end. Body was light, slightly thin. Crisp, quick carbonation.

Aug 14, 2009 Pours a murky, dark orange-straw into the glass, with an initial lavish head that reduces to a thin cap. The nose has huge banana aromas... quite dominant. Some pear flavors upfront, maybe hints at Granny Smith apples. Yeast follows in the mid-palate (very fruit-bready), with a crisp, brisk finish that culminates spices and reinstates banana. The body is light, and the mouthfeel is soda-esque, with lively carbonation. A nice dunkelweisse!

Jan 17, 2005 Amber and cloudy, well carbonated with a frothy off white head. Aroma of banana and pear with yeast and a hint of vanilla. Light in body with apple being the dominate flavor. Finishes fast with little bitternesss

Mar 17, 2006 Draught at brewery restaurent. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light amber colour. Very yeasty aroma and flavor. Nice oily fluffy palate. A very good hefe.

Feb 16, 2005 Pours a cloudy darker golden color with a medium head. Very yeasty aroma with hints of wheat malt and citrus. Flavor follows suit. Yeasty with a bit of citrus some banana and a bit of barn yard. Medium mouthfeel and very smooth.

Jun 12, 2006 500 mlo bottle poured a hazy amber with a large lasting ivory head. Aromas of wheat, apple, light banana, and light spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, applesauce, light banana, light citrus and a bit of spice with a smooth sweet finish.

Nov 22, 2006 (bottle, traded with joss - thanks!) Cloudy, slightly murky orange hue with a huge, persistent light-beige foamy head. Dusty, moderately sweet and slightly sour-fruity aroma with light toasty notes and clovy spice. Sweet, slightly viscid initial wheat-malty taste, slightly toasted, banana-fruity; medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation; well-balanced, malty and moderately fruity finish with cinnamon and clovy spice. Aromatic and rounded Hefeweizen.

Danke!): Hazy, light amber coloured, smaller creamy off-white head; fruity aromas: bananas, lemons, cloves with a yeasty touch; sweetish fruity flavour with a touch of mild acidity; fruity (citrousy) and a bit malty/caramelly finish. Medium bodied. A complex and very pleasant Weizen !
