Nov 22, 2006 (bottle, traded with joss - thanks!) Cloudy, slightly murky orange hue with a huge, persistent light-beige foamy head. Dusty, moderately sweet and slightly sour-fruity aroma with light toasty notes and clovy spice. Sweet, slightly viscid initial wheat-malty taste, slightly toasted, banana-fruity; medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation; well-balanced, malty and moderately fruity finish with cinnamon and clovy spice. Aromatic and rounded Hefeweizen.

Apr 15, 2006 Bottle (sent by joss. Danke!): Hazy, light amber coloured, smaller creamy off-white head; fruity aromas: bananas, lemons, cloves with a yeasty touch; sweetish fruity flavour with a touch of mild acidity; fruity (citrousy) and a bit malty/caramelly finish. Medium bodied. A complex and very pleasant Weizen !

Mar 7, 2007 500 ml bottle. Hazy murky orange with a nice head that fizzled out quickly. Aromas of ripe banana and some sweet bread. Flavors fell off a bit. Still some banana, but the bitterness came over what I expected to be sweet. Some Alcohol flavor which suprised me since it’s not that strong. Still not bad.

Apr 16, 2006 Golden, brown color. Creamy white head. Flavor of banana and clove. Spicy. Rich, creamy texture. Some caramel. Slight bit of yeast. Enjoyable but a bit simple.

Aroma of grapefruit, banana and wheat malt. Mouthfeel pretty soft, kind of tingly esp. in finish. Flavor is a citrusy tang blended with wheat maltiness, some banana as well. A little citrusy bite at end.

Sep 4, 2007 Updated: Oct 3, 2007bottle at vandalia lounge in charleston, wv. poured a dark hazy yellow with a thick, dense white head. great wheat smell laced fairly heavily with banana esters. taste was more wheat, with even more banana, a hint of some citrus, maybe even a bit of floral hops, with a happy malt base. medium-bodied with that bit of carbonation that fits a weiss beer. finished with just a tiny hint of sweetness, drying out as time went on. a very tasty summer beer.

Jul 1, 2008 Cloudy, carbonated, amber, nice short lasting head, strong notes off ripe fruit, banana, melon, yeast. Sweet and little bitter in the short aftertaste. good mouthfeel.
