A pale lager with little carbonation. The taste is sweet and the smell is off-putting after a while. Not a pleasant experience even on a hot day and in need of a cold drink.

Had this in London a very long while ago. Really pale yellow in appearance, sweet malty, with little else to it. Not really German in flavour, but then again, it is brewed in England.

Draught, at the Cittie of Yorke, London.
Thin, anaemic looking, golden body with no head. Spot the difference between this and the regular Ayingerberau. This one is just for those that want to get pissed marginally quicker.

Tap, Cittie of Yorke, London. Some water with a squeeze of apple juice is the total sum of the aroma. A stronger version of the lager. Chemical and metallic flavour is stronger and thus more unpleasant. Slightly better mouthfeeel. But all in all this is a glass of garbage.

Draught: Cittie of Yorke, London. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Has a mild maltiness to it with mild hops. Decent but not great.

(Tap, King Arms, York, England) Descent tasting lager from Samuel Smiths’ new brand name. Brown colored lager pours with a medium frothy head.
